ALL LIVES MATTER!
On April 1, 2016, the following was printed at the USA Today site:
CHICAGO — Murders in the nation’s third-largest city are up about 72%, while shootings have surged more than 88% in the first three months of 2016 compared with the same period last year, according to data released Friday by the Chicago Police Department.
Police said the disturbing rise in violence is driven by gangs and mostly contained to a handful of pockets on the city’s South and West sides.
“While CPD will remain tireless in its efforts to hold criminals accountable for their actions, we all have a part to play in creating a safer Chicago,” newly appointed interim Superintendent Eddie Johnson said in a statement. “In the coming weeks and months, I plan on meeting with and listening to a range of Chicagoans — from activists and elected officials to ministers and parents — to find ways that we can come together to build mutual trust and lasting partnerships that will make our streets safer for everyone.”
The city has seen 141 murders this year, compared with 82 murders at the same point last year. Police reported 677 shootings this year compared with 359 at the same point last year.
The grim rise in violence comes after the Chicago Police Department reported 468 murders in 2015, a 12.5% increase from the year before. There were 2,900 shootings in 2015, 13% more than the year before, according to Police Department records.
The rise in violence comes as the police department reported a decrease in investigative stops by cops on the streets during the first two months of the year.
ALL LIVES MATTER!
Does it MATTER what the ethnicity of all these people murdered – just in one city, Chicago? Why are all these people dying? Does it MATTER that, according to this article, “the disturbing rise in violence is driven by gangs and mostly contained to a handful of pockets on the city’s South and West sides.” So – I guess it’s not to worry – it’s “only” gang members killing other gang members… At least we can’t blame Mayor Rahm Emanuel – he REALLY cares!
ALL LIVES MATTER!
OK, Mr. President – how do you stop people from killing people in YOUR adopted hometown of Chicago? More gun laws? Are they working? I guess it’s because the whole state of Illinois won’t ban guns, huh? If only! Sorry for the sarcasm, but this is a serious situation and its being treated as “Oh, well – gang members will be gang members, after all!”
Every murder is a murder! The ethnic identity of those murdered does NOT MATTER!
ALL LIVES MATTER!
My lady doth protest too much, me thinks. Wow – all this furor over the Canadian singer, Remigio Periera (that name sounds awfully Italian…) who held up a sign saying what I’VE been saying – “All Lives Matter” – and the Lickspittle Media have brought the hammer down. “How DARE he!” I thought that free speech protections were extended to ALL people here, including Canadians – guess I was wrong. Well – the man lost his job for his political incorrectness. His own group (they sound like lickspittles, too) called his actions “disrespectful” and “shameful.”
What? It’s one thing to say that singing the Canadian anthem is not a moment for a political statement – even though I passionately agree with his position, that was really not the time and place. But – then again, when will be? The two guys who gave the “Black Power” clenched fist (disrespectful to their nation) salute at the 1968 Olympics (but we haven’t had a “meaningful dialogue” yet about race!) had every right to do what that did – I’d say it was covered by free speech – but, while not being “shameful”, it was disrespectful.
ALL LIVES MATTER!
The supposedly non-biased Associated Press article ends with this: “The motivations and ethnicities of the proponents of the ‘All Lives Matter’ response vary, but it has received heavy criticism. The phrase has been perceived to use reductive reasoning to trivialize the problems specifically facing blacks.” So – “common sense” and “the simple truth” are reductive reasoning?
Let’s be honest (I know that’s a stretch for the lickspittle media, but we’ll give it a whirl): people pushing “Black Lives Matter” are agents of division, pure and simple. How can the problems of people NOT having African-American ancestry be resolved? It CAN’T BE! Each one of our own individual ethnicities is not a choice – we were born whatever we are. If I claimed to be of African ancestry (which I COULD do if I wanted to lie… but I won’t), I should be ridiculed. So – how, then, can I resolve my lack of ability to be what BLM wants me to be…
It’s an impossible conundrum! It’s like the argument that pro-abortion women use against me: “you’re not a woman, so you have no right to have an opinion on abortion.” That’s ludicrous! Murder is murder (again). And – which topic should WOMEN not be allowed to speak on because they’re not MEN?
This whole mess brings us back to the lunacy of Identity Politics: voting for someone because of WHAT they are, rather than whether you agree with their political philosophy or not. Like my favorite example: I’m a man, in my (late) 50’s, from the Northeast, who has Italian ancestry. My favorite candidate should, of course, be someone just like me… who would be Andrew Cuomo. Oh, no – it’s not supposed to matter that I’m a conservative Republican and he’s a liberal Democrat. No – he matches me the closest, so… Cuomo in 2020. Ridiculous, you say? Of course – but it’s just as ridiculous to ask women to vote for Hillary because… “I’m a woman, and SHE’S a woman!” Yet that is how she is often presented.
If “All Lives Matters” is “reductive” and politically incorrect, we are sunk as a nation. We have no basis for unity – only continued division. Ultimately, that’s what the REAL powers (globalists like George Soros) behind the throne want: division. They don’t want “All Lives Matter” to mess up their plans to continue the “crisis” situation. They don’t want common sense and truth – they want just emotional reactions to the “news” that THEY control. They don’t want “E Pluribus Unum” – or, ‘In God We Trust”, either. They want everybody to look out for themselves and their group. They encourage hate… and that is essentially what BLM is all about.
Don’t listen to me – listen to the Dallas murderer of 5 policemen. He was inspired by them.
Mr. President – this is, ultimately, a spiritual problem. Like Daniel, in Daniel Chapter 9, you need to take off your suit coat and tie, put on sackcloth, cover yourself with ashes, and get on your face before Elohim, the All-Powerful One. Look at what Daniel did: as righteous as he was personally, he begged Yahweh to forgive the sins of himself and his nation. Mr. President: do likewise. Daniel’s answer was the 70 weeks prophesy, the greatest prophesy in Scripture… who knows what our answer could be?
Daniel 9: In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, by descent a Mede, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans— 2 in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, perceived in the books the number of years that, according to the word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet, must pass before the end of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years.
3 Then I turned my face to the Lord God, seeking him by prayer and pleas for mercy with fasting and sackcloth and ashes. 4 I prayed to the Lord my God and made confession, saying, “O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 5 we have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules. 6 We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 7 To you, O Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us open shame, as at this day, to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, those who are near and those who are far away, in all the lands to which you have driven them, because of the treachery that they have committed against you. 8 To us, O Lord, belongs open shame, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you. 9 To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against him 10 and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God by walking in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. 11 All Israel has transgressed your law and turned aside, refusing to obey your voice. And the curse and oath that are written in the Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out upon us, because we have sinned against him. 12 He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us and against our rulers who ruled us, by bringing upon us a great calamity. For under the whole heaven there has not been done anything like what has been done against Jerusalem. 13 As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this calamity has come upon us; yet we have not entreated the favor of the Lord our God, turning from our iniquities and gaining insight by your truth. 14 Therefore the Lord has kept ready the calamity and has brought it upon us, for the Lord our God is righteous in all the works that he has done, and we have not obeyed his voice. 15 And now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have made a name for yourself, as at this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
16 “O Lord, according to all your righteous acts, let your anger and your wrath turn away from your city Jerusalem, your holy hill, because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people have become a byword among all who are around us. 17 Now therefore, O our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his pleas for mercy, and for your own sake, O Lord, make your face to shine upon your sanctuary, which is desolate. 18 O my God, incline your ear and hear. Open your eyes and see our desolations, and the city that is called by your name. For we do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness, but because of your great mercy. 19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive. O Lord, pay attention and act. Delay not, for your own sake, O my God, because your city and your people are called by your name.”
This MUST be our National prayer!
Amen and Amen!
