Mr. Joe Makes a Simple Point: February 20, 2016
Good Morning, Class!
Mr. Joe here with a simple lesson!
Are you ready?
Here we go!
Question Number One: What, in Mr. Joe’s opinion, is the most important issue facing the United States of America in this DECISION 2016 season?
Have you been paying attention?
OK – here’s some help…
In my essay, “Dangerous Donald”, on January20, 2016, I said the following as to WHY I warned NOT to vote for Donald Trump:
“I don’t care who endorses him – he does not share our most fundamental ideals. Republicans should be profoundly pro-life and stand up to the Planned Parenthood “baby selling” bureaucracy. We must support Supreme Courts judges who will promise to support the Constitution and overturn Roe v Wade.”
In my recent essay, “The Nation of Laodicea, I wrote the following:
It was not “bucking the trend” when the Supreme Court officially threw prayer out of public schools in the “Engle v. Vitale” case in 1962 – that WAS the trend. It was not antagonistic to the way the culture was going when the Supreme Court finished the job of officially expelling Yahweh with the “Abington v. Schemmp” decision to say that “School-sponsored Bible reading before class is unconstitutional” – that, again, was in lock-step with the cultural flow (the Zeitgeist).
And our national move away from our Creator only accelerated – the Sexual Revolution, the rise of the use of psycho-active drugs, the open embracing of the Satanic creed of “Do What Thou Wilt.” The year of 1973 opened with the next Supreme Court aggression against the sanctity of life – the Roe v. Wade decision, which officially struck down all American laws that protected the unborn. We continued down slippery slopes like the coarsening of the nation’s speech, the open attacks on the family unit, the continued Balkanization of our citizens into “groups”, destroying our sense of unity…
Still puzzled? How about THIS from last August: a mock interview with Senator Rand Paul, based on the real kinds of interviews he was giving at the time:
“Reporter: “Why does the Republican Party hate women, Senator Paul?”
Rand Paul: “We don’t hate women, but Roe v. Wade –“
Give up? What do I think is our most important issue?
GOOD, Class! Roe v. Wade… and Engel and Abington … Supreme Court cases. Now, thinking caps on! So, is it important who nominates justices to the Supreme Court?
YES! You got it! Oh, well done!
Now – if the most important issues facing the United States of America have to do with the Supreme Court… and it’s important who nominates justices to the Supreme Court… do you think Supreme Court Justices are important people?
OF COURSE! Especially if that person – that Supreme Court justice has been the key member of the Court standing in support for the most important issues facing our nation today. Right?
Oh, how clever! Very Good!
OK – I’m out of character… this is my real voice. Do you see why it’s so important? That is – the death of Justice Antonin Scalia? He, as the most conservative, most pro-life Justice on the Supreme Court (with the possible exception of Justice Clarence Thomas), had a critical role to play in standing firm on the Constitution, and standing firm on Biblical morality. Do you understand why it’s so important to know if this central figure – maybe even more significant than the President of the United States – was assassinated? Is it not within the realm of logic to think he could have been murdered?
Of course! So – don’t you think it was strange (to say the least) that this centrally significant American was found dead in his bed with a pillow over his head (as was reported by the owner of the ranch, a big supporter of the POTUS?). That he was said to have died of “natural causes” when he was 79, just a few months older than the current pope, who is considered “young and vibrant” by the same media who dismissed Judge Scalia as an old geezer about to kick the bucket, anyway? If it wasn’t a heart attack, what was it? Well, we’ll never know now – there was no autopsy.
A major, POLITICALLY important person dies under strange circumstances, and before anybody even realizes what is going on, his body is already embalmed at a place (El Paso) a long distance away from where he died? And we’re told, “The family wanted it that way. We have to respect their wishes – they’re still grieving.”
What? ALL of us who are left behind by the death of a loved one go through grieving. The family’s wishes, however sincere, have no standing in this case! Yes – they are grieving. But this man was a towering presence on the Supreme Court, making his death a national event, well beyond how the family feels. We needed to know how he died – so we could be sure he wasn’t murdered.
Ask yourself another question: does anyone benefit from the death of Justice Scalia? Of course! The president now will be free to name someone to the Supreme Court who is DIAMETRICALLY opposed to Justice Scalia. He’s going to nominate someone who will march in lock-step with the liberal lackeys on the Court, who are not so rude as to even CONSIDER voting any way other than the way their puppet masters want them to vote. On really significant issues, does anyone really expect Ginsberg, Sotomayor, Kagan, or Breyer to vote against the Democratic Administration’s will? Especially after they saw what will happen to them if they don’t stay in line?
One more telling sign that Justice Scalia was assassinated: the mainstream media dropped the story so fast it is making our heads spin right off of our bodies at light speed! It’s been less than a week – a WEEK! – after a politically significant American died mysteriously and the media is only concerned about who went to his funeral (not “Don Barry”, but his consigliore, Biden – I hope he brought the obligatory giant horseshoe of flowers to show how REALLY SORRY his Capo is that one of his rivals has passed away), And, except for Alex Jones and a handful of others truth-seekers, the questions have been completely forgotten (except for some RUDE REPUBLICANS who just won’t let his family grieve!).
Justice Antonin Scalia – down the memory hole.
And if you don’t get that reference, it’s from a book titled “1984”. By a guy named George Orwell.
You’d better act fast, though – before all versions of THAT book follow Justice Scalia.
Finally – in all seriousness – I don’t know for sure what Justice Scalia’s spiritual condition was. By looking at his life and the moral issues he stood for, I can make a reasonable assumption that he is now in Glory with Jesus. If so, I can say to him: “See ya later! Thanks for standing on the moral issues that were in line with a Biblical morality.”
To say he will be missed is the understatement of the year – or the decade.
To his murderers, I say: “Be sure your sin will find you out.” As Jesus said, “Don’t fear him who can only kill the body. Fear Him who can kill the body and the soul in hell.”
