I’m re-posting a lot of things that have been posted previously – for my new readers.

Bill Cosby – December 13, 2014
Bill Cosby is excrement.
That is, if he is guilty of the crimes he is accused of… and I have no reason to doubt the word of the women who have come forward.
OK – Bill Cosby is allegedly excrement for the alleged crimes he has allegedly committed against these women. Again, I have no reason to doubt them, but, like every American citizen, Bill Cosby is entitled to his day in court. But I need to say a few things.
1) I believe that the crimes Bill Cosby is accused of committing should be capital offenses – that’s right, I am in favor of the death penalty in some cases of rape. We’re not talking about statutory rape; I mean violent rape, or the rape of a young child, or the use of drugs to debilitate a woman. Yes – I have advocated the death penalty for these kinds of crimes, as well as many cases of murder. Sexual crime is especially vicious – we need to eliminate from our society those who have committed these crimes, but always beyond a reasonable doubt. Our civilization ought to protect women and children above all else. I don’t care if that sounds sexist or chauvinistic – if so, I accept those labels. Women and children should be protected far above any mature (18 years or older) man. Absolutely. Without a doubt… And every time we fail to protect women and children to a very high degree, we become a less godly, more barbaric culture. That includes abortion, which brings severe harm to children – obviously – but also to women.
2) I think that many – yes, most – of the people pointing fingers at Bill Cosby are enormous hypocrites. Jesus talked about a man with a wooden plank in his eye pointing out the tiny speck in someone else’s eye. Not that what Bill Cosby did, even if only one of the accusations turns out to be true, is speck-like – on the contrary, he has a giant log sticking out of his eye. But these hypocritical accusers have giant redwoods in comparison. How so? Well, some of them have done as bad, if not worse than Bill Cosby. But even if they haven’t, they’ve opened the door to this kind of behavior by advocating a liberal definition of morality. That is: they refuse to take a stand on any actual document. That’s why the Word of God (the Bible) is so important. God said these things are truth, and those sinners of us who follow God by following Jesus desire to keep His law. Jesus said: “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments” (John 14:15). We can never do that perfectly, but that’s why we believers have the Holy Spirit in us – to give us the power to obey His commandments because we love Him. Many of these people deny the truth of Scripture and basically say “Let your conscience be your guide.” Which is only possible if you have a moral conscience… I’m sure Bill Cosby’s conscience told him that what he was doing was OK – after all, he apparently kept doing the same things. It seems that he was living his life according to the basic principle of Satan – “Do what thou wilt.” And who are you, those of you who live by that principle, to judge another man’s pleasure? By saying anything (except an advocacy of what he did), you reveal your hypocrisy.
