Sometimes, when I’m writing an essay, I refer to “the powers that be.” Sometimes I just say “they” or “them”. You may ask – and rightly so – who do I mean? Do I really believe in conspiracies? Are they all bent on world domination? Or, which conspiratorial groups are real and which are fakes?
Do you actually believe that the Illuminati are real?
Yes. I have no reason not to believe the stories about them.
“What about the Masons?”
Yes, of course they exist. And they are a secret society that is part of the conspiratorial cabal.
“The Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission?”
“The NWO (New World Order) groups?”
“The Ku Klux Klan?”
“The FBI and the CIA?”
Yes – they are both real AND are trying to control world governments, including our own.
“You’ve got to be kidding.”
To that I can truthfully say – No. I’m not kidding – I’m completely serious. No satire – no nothing. I couldn’t be MORE serious.
Because Satan is referred to in Scripture as “The prince of this world”. He is called “The prince of the power of the air.”
“What does that have to do with these groups?”
Because Satan is behind them all. He controls them, even if the people in them are aware of them or not.
“So what are you going to do about them?”
Tell the truth. Live the truth. Serve the Lord as He gives me strength.
“Is that all?”
I also pray that his forces will be defeated. That the eyes of those deceived by the Great Deceiver will be opened. That there will still, at this late date, be a revival of faith in Yashua ha Meshiach in this nation… in this world.”
“What? Who’s that?”
That’s the Hebrew-Aramaic term – the actual Biblical name – for Jesus the Messiah.
That’s His real name. In Hebrew, the word for salvation is His name – Yashua.
“Nothing else? Why not? Don’t you think these groups are going to take over the world?”
Because, as real and as evil as they are, I laugh at them.
“That’s not a very Christian thing to do!”
That’s what Abba Father does. Listen to Psalm 2:
The Reign of the LORD’s Anointed
Why do the nations rage
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,
against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying,
3 “Let us burst their bonds apart
and cast away their cords from us.”
4 He who sits in the heavens laughs;
the Lord holds them in derision.
5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath,
and terrify them in his fury, saying,
6 “As for me, I have set my King
on Zion, my holy hill.”
7 I will tell of the decree:
The LORD said to me, “You are my Son;
today I have begotten you.
8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron
and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”
10 Now therefore, O kings, be wise;
be warned, O rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear,
and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son,
lest he be angry, and you perish in the way,
for his wrath is quickly kindled.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
Praise be to His holy name!
